Hello APMA DUG, We are excited to announce that our budget for Fall 2020 has been approved. Here is a list of the events we have planned for this semester, as decided in our first meeting:

Hello everyone, Our first meeting will take place tomorrow, October 4, between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM (EST). You can join the meeting using this link, which will be the link for all meetings this semester. We plan to meet once every two weeks but may meet more frequently if there are additional matters to discuss before an upcoming event.

We will make our notes from the meeting publicly available on this website so that those who can't make it to the meeting can stay up to date. We will publish all notes for future meetings as well. The topic of our first meeting will be to discuss what events we would like to plan this semester and assigning leadership roles.

Are you passionate about civic engagement? Do you want to make sure that every Brown student votes? Every Vote Counts and Brown Votes are recruiting organizers for our Get Out The Vote campus canvassing campaign this fall! As a student organizer, you'll be responsible for recruiting a team of volunteers who will conduct peer-to-peer canvassing on social media to make sure that every student gets out to vote. The Data Open challenges students from the world's best universities to tackle real-world social challenges in topics such as urban traffic, renewable energy, and education.
